We highly recommend proper gear:

Shoes: No flip flops, no high heels, no open toed sandals, no sneakers. As trails are dirt with tree roots and rocks, you need to have good hiking shoes. Trail running shoes are excellent, especially if they’re waterproof. Closed toe hiking sandals such as Keen brand are okay.

Clothing: You don’t need long hiking pants, shorts will do fine.

Gear: Sunglasses, hat for shade, camera gear, sunblock, water

Optional: hiking poles if you have knee/ankle problems to stabilize yourself on the dirt paths and steps.

Food/Drink: 32oz of water (recommended 1/2 liter per hiking hour), energy bar or snacks

Also, no worries if you can’t do the hike. Hang out and enjoy the beautiful resort!

Adults age 18+ only for event activities and presentations.

Each paid attendee may bring one guest for FREE (if sharing room)

Personal Cancellations & Refunds:

Please do not register unless you are certain that you can attend on the dates of July 25-29, 2026 as we must rent out and place a deposit with this facility months in advance in order to secure it, we cannot offer refunds. We will, however, allow you to sell or transfer your entry to someone else, should you not be able to attend.

Facility / Government / Travel Cancellations & Refunds:

Due to some uncertain examples, such as COVID-19 regarding unforeseen flight restrictions, event facility restrictions, storm or natural disaster events, or government/state restrictions, there could become a situation which requires us to cancel or postpone this event. Should event cancellation occur, we would only be partially refunded by the facility, and we would then provide partial refunds to attendees. Should postponement occur, we will not receive refunds and cannot offer refunds to attendees. A new event date would be scheduled to be completed within 1 year of original event date.

We also recommend that you purchase your airline ticket with a cancellation option, just in case.
